Lisa Rani Ray is a model, television host, philanthropist, and social activist from Canada. She starred in the Canadian film Water, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2005. She co-starred in the romance films I Can't Think Straight and The World Unseen with Sheetal Sheth in 2008. Ray made her Indian film debut in 1994 with the Tamil film Nethaji, in which she co-starred with Sarath Kumar and had a little role. She starred alongside Aftab Shivdasani in the Bollywood film Kasoor in 2001. She co-starred with Mahesh Babu in the Telugu film Takkari Donga in 2002.
